
Attorney Camille O. Bowman, a licensed attorney since 2000, is the founder of the Law Offices of Camille O. Bowman. She is a board-certified specialist in Immigration and Nationality Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. The certified legal specialist status is a status only given to those attorneys who have passed a rigorous examination, demonstrated extensive experience requirements and been favorably evaluated by other attorneys and judges familiar with their work.
Practicing Immigration and Nationailty Law exclusively for the past 15 years, Attorney Bowman has extensive experience in all types of immigration matters, including removal/deportation proceedings, appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She has successfully defended hundreds of clients in hearings before the Immigration Courts throughout the United States. Additionally, she has represented thousands of clients before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services in obtaining various immigration and naturalization benefits. She has pursued post-conviction relief, such as petitions for habeas corpus and writs of coram nobis, for non-citizens convicted of crimes.
Attorney Bowman is a member of the California State Bar. She is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
Attorney Bowman graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1997. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1994. Prior to starting her own practice, Attorney Bowman worked as an associate immigration attorney for the Law Offices of Brian D. Lerner and the Law Offices of Michael J. Gurfinkel.
